Auction House Results – Week Commencing 20th May 2013

Another great week for Auction House last week across three auctions in the Midlands and the north of England.

The first auction took place in Leicester on Tuesday 21^st May and the other two took place in Sheffield and Leeds on Wednesday 22^nd May.

Tuesday’s auction, hosted by Auction House Leicestershire had a fantastic day with eight lots being offered and 100% selling. One lot was sold prior to the auction, with the remaining seven going under the hammer. In total they raised almost £600,000.

On Wednesday Auction House Blundells took to the hammer in Sheffield with 16 of the 23 lots being offered, selling. One lot was withdrawn prior to auction, but in total they raised £1.1 million on the day.

Later that day Auction House West Yorkshire had an impressive 49 lots on offer at Leeds United Football Club. 82 per cent of lots offered were sold, with 36 selling in the room and 4 were sold prior to the auction. In total an incredible £2.8 million was raised from the 40 lots sold.
