Last week Auction House hosted several property auctions at venues throughout the UK, raising a total of over £5.6 million.
The bidding began on Monday at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry where 5 out of the 6 lots on offer (84 per cent) were sold raising a total of £311,250.
On Wednesday there were three auctions in Berkshire, Yorkshire and on the Wirral. In the first of these, at the Blue Mountain Golf Club in Bracknell, 20 lots were offered. Fourteen of these were sold in the room raising £2,436,000.
At Beverley Racecourse 50 per cent of the 18 lots on offer were sold raising £554,000, while at the Village Leisure Hotel in Bromborough 75 per cent of the 24 lots sold, raising a total of £1,759,900.
On Thursday, at the Hardwick Hotel in Stockton-On-Tees, 12 lots went under the gavel. Of these 9 were sold raising £244,400.
On the same day Welsh auction goers had the opportunity to bid on 4 properties at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narbeth. Two of these were sold in the room and an office block was sold prior to auction for an undisclosed fee. The Auction raised £330,000.
There was also an auction held at the St Mellons Hotel in Cardiff but the results were not available at the time of writing.
Overall the week was another good one for Auction House, which has a 79 per cent success rate in 2013. Auction House’s next event will be held in the Shuttle Suite of the National Space Centre in Leicester on Wednesday 2nd October at 6.00PM. Click here for details of the lots available.
