Auction House held six auctions last week and here are the fantastic results of four of those. The four auctions were held in London, Gateshead, Tavistock and Kings Lynn. Two were held on Wednesday and one each was held on Thursday and Friday.
Across the four auctions, 53 of the 74 lots sold, raising over £10 million.
Wednesday’s auction at Everyman cinema in London saw 89 per cent of properties sell. Ten lots were sold before the auction had even started, which is a great result. Unfortunately none of the ten lots sold later that day in Gateshead.
On Thursday afternoon in Tavistock 70 per cent of lots sold at the Bedford Hotel, raising £820,500. Finally on Friday 8 of the 11 lots sold in the room, raising just under one million pounds. One lot also sold after the auction, but the amount has not been disclosed.
