Auction House was the recipient of two national awards at a recent event that took place at the Park Lane Hilton.
The company scooped the trophy for Residential Auction House of the Year at the annual Negotiator Awards attended by around 700 people. They followed this up by coming out on top in the Franchisor of the Year category.
Speaking about the awards Founding Director, Roger Lake, explained that in little over six years, Auction House has expanded from a single auction room in Norwich to having 33 nationwide.
Today, based on lots sold, Auction House is the UK’s largest residential auctioneer with an average success rate of 80 per cent over the past three years.
Mr Lake puts this success down to the professionalism of the team and the excellent levels of customer service they consistently provide.
Selling property by auction has become increasingly popular over recent years. Vendors are attracted to the method by the simplicity, speed and certainty of auction sales. Selling by auction is also a proven method of obtaining the best price for properties in need of renovation or for ‘quirky’ unusual lots.
Last week Auction House raised £199,500 when the gavel came down on an auction held at Gainsborough Golf Club in Lincolnshire.
