The Grade I listed building is located in an attractive Georgian Square just a short walk from Bristol city centre and the new Cabot Circus retail development. It also benefits from easy access to Temple Meads Railway Station and the M32 motorway.

The 6,241 sq ft property comprises ground, basement and three upper floors, along with a rear meeting hall, incorporating a mezzanine floor, which is currently used as office space.

It boats a number of attractive period features including a full height staircase, detailed cornicing, window shutters and fire places.

The property has planning consent for the existing office use, but also has the potential for conversion to residential use subject to planning and listed building consents.

17 Portland Square was sold freehold for £640,000. The purchasers, like the vendors, are private investors.
