Infrastructure team member, Simon Mole, has been promoted to salaried partner. He has more than 11 years’ experience advising across the transport, infrastructure and regeneration sectors. And Chris Willett, an architect who specialises in listed buildings and high quality residential projects for private clients, has become an associate partner.

Kevin Ayrton, a member of CJ’s Oxfordshire planning team, who specialises in the preparation of planning applications and appeals for historic country estates, renewable energy schemes, educational sites and business parks has been promoted to associate level.

The office’s two other new associates are Christopher Rhodes, a surveyor from its 12-strong rural team whose speciality is consulting on estate management and asset valuations for private clients, finance providers and institutions, and country house and estate specialist Juliana Markeson.

“All five are shining examples of the many skills and talent that we have across our Oxford office which now totals more than 80 people,” commented CJ partner and Oxford office head, Mark Charter. “These promotions enhance our business as we continue to give our clients the very best possible expert property advice.”

In a separate announcement, Carter Jonas has also confirmed the appointment of senior planner Lois Partridge to its Oxford-based planning team.

And Edinburgh property management team member, Andrew Trumper, has also been promoted from surveyor to senior surveyor.

Commenting on the promotions, Bill Duguid, a Ryden managing partner, said: “I am proud to reward the hard work and results achieved by these outstanding individuals after an encouraging year for Ryden, where early indications show a strong year despite challenging economic factors.”
