Cornish Market World, known locally as Par Market, is a short drive from St Austell and currently operates on Saturday and Sunday, attracting 15,000 visitors to the site every weekend.

There are plans to open the market every day and a new facade and additional commercial units suitable for retail, farm shop and restaurant businesses are being added to the existing offer.

The new units will range in size from 2,800 sq ft to 7,500 sq ft and are available on flexible lease terms of up to 17 years.

Paul Heather, co-director of Newton Abbot-based Charles Darrow, said: “This expansion aims to put St Austell on the map as an exciting destination for Cornish residents and visitors.

“We are confident that the new units available will be popular because of the amount of people that visit the market.

“The change to a seven day a week operation will provide new opportunities and positive knock-on effects.”
