MOVEHUT, the UK’s largest commercial property portal, today announces that it has appointed Michael Cuthbert as Chairman. With further senior appointments expected to be announced shortly, the Company is continuing to progress its plans for a listing, which it expects to complete before the end of 2013.
A former regional managing partner of Clifford Chance LLP, Michael Cuthbert joins Movehut as Non Executive chairman and has advised Boards of listed companies throughout a 30 year+ career in corporate law. He is currently executive chairman of Diamond Fields International, a mining company listed on the TSE Venture Exchange and sits on the boards of Eastern Property Holdings Limited, a Zurich listed property development company focused on Russia and on the Board of Reso Garantia, a large Russian insurance company. He is also a consultant to Global Legal Search LLP, a firm of London based legal headhunters and a London based law firm, Discreet Law LLP. Michael has over 30 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer specializing in M&A and capital markets at ‘magic circle’ law firms.
