The property which was marketed at £1.5 million has been sold to Angel Foundation, which operates as GOD TV, for an undisclosed sum.

Until 2012 the property was used as an archive file storage facility by the Land Registry. It comprises three individual buildings of one, two and three storeys providing 81,945 sq ft of space within a 3.2 acre site. It also features car parking for 75 vehicles.

GOD TV plans to utilise the property for office space, together with filming and production facilities.

Joanne Harwood, of Vickery Holman, says that the Drakes Hill Court property is one of the largest to hit the Plymouth market this year and that it is great to see it sold.

“It also shows the confidence people have in Plymouth and their want to invest in the city,” she continues.

“GOD TV will be investing a lot of time and money into this project and so it is great to see their commitment to our great city.”
