Cape Town Development attracting Top Tenants

Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village, located in Green Point, Cape Town, has gone through a rapid regeneration due to the efforts of its managing agents Spire Property Management and owners Tower Property Fund. One of these changes is that a number of retail and office tenants have taken up space in the mixed-used centre.

One of the newest tenants is JWT. The internationally-represented advertising agency has taken 827 square metres of space within Cape Quarter. Sean Paul, the Managing Director of Spire Property Management, commented recently that the area is attracting more creative-based businesses, such as advertising and design agencies.

JWT’s new offices are currently being revamped. The work has been undertaken by R+N Master Builders, the same firm who were responsible for the original redevelopment of the Cape Quarter and the development of the Cape Quarter Extension in 2009.

R+N has specialist tenant installation teams who have completed all the commercial office fit-outs at Cape Quarter.

JWT is closely associated with preserving heritage buildings and has developed a reputation for being highly skilled in this field. This is very important consideration when it comes to renovations being conducted within the Cape Quarter.

JWT will join other tenants like Pernod Ricard, Lindt chocolates, and Deloitte at Cape Quarter. Cape Quarter is proving popular with these tenants due to its location, facilities and the general ambiance of the development. The companies feel that Cape Quarter fits in well with their brand.

It is situated within the trendy residential neighbourhood of de Waterkant, which makes it a popular choice among businesses that want to connect with local residents. Cape Quarter’s numerous open balconies also help to make the neighbourhood connection easier for tenants.
