A recently purchased plot of Market Rasen land is set to become the site of a five-star state of the art business park.

The newly titled ‘Kings Head Business Centre’, which is located on the site of the furniture store ‘Granddad’s Shed’, will be able to house twelve businesses and have up to twenty members of staff.

It was purchased by pub and property entrepreneur Darren Lince and Sara Scott at auction in November of last year. The space had not been used for seven years.

Ms Scott said that one of the major problems facing the area is that residents have to commute to other towns to work, then with that, their custom is leaving too. She added that the new business park will give small businesses a chance to grow.

Both she and Mr Lince have spoken to local businesses to see what they want from these types of offices.

Darren Lince already has a clear vision of what he sees the park doing,  He said that he wants fantastic Wi-Fi, fast internet, virtual assistants, world class meeting spaces and training and development facilities. All of this, he adds, at a reasonable cost.

Planning consultant, Martyn Flynn shares this enthusiasm and says that the new business park will aim to create a thriving environment and hopes that it will generate business growth in the town, adding that he hopes it is given the green light and the area will become a thriving business hub.
