Trinity Leeds’ street food concept, Trinity Kitchen, has celebrated its first anniversary by welcoming Rola Wala, to the award winning destination.
The Indian street food vendor will open its first permanent restaurant site in a 452 sq ft unit following a successful stint as a pop-up in the centre. Rola Wala joins a host of established outlets In Trinity Kitchen, including Tortilla, Pho and Chicago Rib Shack.
Trinity Leeds’ wider food and beverage offer has also been expanded with last month’s opening of a 5,498 sq ft outlet by Meat Liquor. It has also been confirmed that Brazilian barbeque restaurant, Cabana, will be arriving at Land Securities’ £400 million retail and leisure development next month.
Trinity Kitchen has enjoyed an exceptional first year, welcoming 1.3 million visitors – an average of 25,000 each week. The 20,000 sq ft venue has hosted 55 different street food operators with five food vans changing at regular intervals, along with seven permanent food tenants.
Emma Lawson, Portfolio Manager at Land Securities, described Trinity Kitchen’s first twelve months as “tremendously successful” and praised its contribution to the overall success of Trinity Leeds’ food and beverage offer. She also welcomed the arrival of Rola Wala.
