Originally excavated for the extraction of clay approximately 30 years ago, the two mature lakes extend to a total of 3.5 acres. The fishery is currently run as a day ticket fishery.
The two lakes are connected via a pipe. The current owners have erected shelters around the perimeter of the lakes, in certain pegs.
