Industry Appointments: Nationwide Management Team in place at CPBigwood

With development schemes underway across the country — ranging from single sites to large estates — property consultants CPBigwood has completed the appointment of its senior management team.

The Birmingham-based company has promoted Beverley Wootton to senior property manager alongside Kerry Shugar. Formerly the city office’s account service manager, Wootton has been with the company since 2005, overseeing a team responsible for sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control.

The other recently appointed senior managers now in place are Adrian Archer in Stratford-upon-Avon, Alicia Franklin in Loughborough, and Rupy Jandu in CPBigwood’s London office.

Also in Birmingham, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has strengthened its building surveying team with the appointment of a new associate director.

Following spells at Smith Gore and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where she gained experience industrial, office, retail, educational and residential sectors, Seonaid Brown has joined the building consultancy. Brown is also vice-chair of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Matrics West Midlands committee, which looks after the interests of those entering the surveying profession.

Harworth Estates, one of the UK’s leading property regeneration companies, has made two more appointments to support its growing business.

After running his own independent development management practice, IG Consulting, which advised corporate and high-wealth landowners, Iain Griffin has joined the firm’s development division as its manager. Harworth has also appointed Jenny Cutler as its financial controller with responsibility over day-to-day funding.

Independent property consultants Rider Levett Bucknall has taken on three new starters at its Manchester office.

After six years at Capita Property & Infrastructure, where his clients included the now trouble-hit Tesco group, Matthew Fletcher has been appointed as a project manager.

Jacqui Crooks has been named as Manchester office manager. Before working as a personal assistant to the company secretary of Bolton-based Seddon Construction she spent 27 years at the Co-operative Group as PA and assistant to its chief executive.

And Heather Evans has joined as environmental and corporate responsibility assistant having just completed a masters in sustainable environmental design in architecture. She will be working on corporate responsibility and carbon management projects.

Surveyor Louise Slevin is leaving her north of England estate management job with supermarket chain William Morrison to join DTZ’s retail team.

Working from the service provider’s Leeds office she will handle shopping centre and high street retail investment properties on behalf of clients including CIT and DTZ’s own investment management team.

A Teesside solicitors has included three property related appointments among a clutch of promotions and new hirings.

Stockton-based Jacksons Law Firm has promoted Victoria Pounder, the head of its construction and engineering team, to partner level after just nine months with the practice.

Erica Turner, a member of Jacksons’ commercial property team, is now an associate. And recently qualified solicitor Helen McCue is also joining the real estate department as one of the firm’s six new staff members.
