The ‘A Second Later’ event – which is loosely based on the popular BBC show “Later with Jools Holland – was hosted by former Business Times publisher Alan Spooner at Hanger One, Sywell Aerodrome, and brought together three local bands featuring prominent names from the county’s commercial property sector.

The audience at the event were treated to the musical talents of Prop-Search founding Director Simon Toseland, who plays keyboards and provides backing vocals for three-piece band Iniquity.

He was joined by Hadland Chartered Surveyors Managing Director Peter Castle, on drums with Thre3e, and Drake Commercial Partner Nicholas Roberts who took to the stage in his role as drummer for The Domino Effect, a seven piece band which plays a mix of original and rock covers.

In total, the event raised £7,573.00 for the sister Cynthia Spencer and Cransley Hospices, which provide specialist palliative care services for patients in the south and north of Northamptonshire respectively. The cheque was recently presented to Community Fundraiser Sue Bownass (pictured)

‘A Second Later’ – now in its second year –  was presented by Northampton based ACS, and sponsored by other businesses from the county including Shire Security, Midshires Electrical, Promote-It, Stanair and Dalepak.
