Stunning Success Rates top another Successful Week for Auction House

Auction House enjoyed a successful two days of sales last week during which 9 property auctions produced some stunning success rates.

Auction House South East Wales set the benchmark when they offered 9 lots for sale at the St Mellons Hotel in Cardiff on 4th December.

Three lots were sold prior to auction and another was withdrawn. When the bidding ended in the room a further 5 lots had been sold raising £672,500 and amounting to a fabulous 100% success rate.

Later the same evening bidding began at Beverley Racecourse where Auction House Hull & East Yorkshire had 9 lots on offer.

One of the lots was sold prior to auction and a further 8 were sold in the room repeating the 100 % success rate achieved in South Wales. This auction raised a total of £652,500.

Earlier on Wednesday Auction House West Yorkshire offered 43 lots for sale at the home of Leeds United Football Club.

A total of 41 of these were sold, either prior to auction or in the room, raising a total of £3,082,250. Once again, this auction achieved a hugely impressive success rate – this time of 96%.

Meanwhile Auction House Cheshire and North East Wales achieved a 79% success rate and raised £965,501 when 11 out of 14 lots were sold at Chester Racecourse.

On the Wirral, Auction House Smith & Sons had 15 lots for sale at the Village Leisure Hotel, Bromborough Pool.  A total of 10 of these (67%) were sold raising £655,000.

Also achieving a 67% success rate was Auction House Northamptonshire when they hosted a property auction at the Hilton Northampton. Here, 6 out of 9 lots were sold raising a total of £850,000.

Completing Wednesdays action were auctions hosted by Auction House West of England and Auction House South Lincs and East Leics which both achieved 50% success rates.

At Thornbury Castle 2 out of 4 lots were sold raising a total of £155,000. At the De Vere Belton Woods Hotel, Grantham, identical numbers raised a total of £255,000.

The following afternoon Chester Racecourse was the venue for a property auction hosted by Auction House Cheshire and North East Wales. Here, 11 out of 14 lots (79%) were sold raising a total of £965,501.

Together, last week’s auctions represent another great week for Auction House which now has an average UK success rate of 79%.
