The Demand for Serviced Office Space is Rising!

The demand for shared  or serviced offices is on the increase due to the current economic climate that the UK is experiencing. While the commercial property industry has seen a rise for serviced office space to rent as a whole, searches through Movehut.co.uk in the County of Kent and Reading area are strong and rising.

Renting office space can be expensive. In fact it is usually the biggest expense to a company after wages and salaries. There are some great solutions available for SME’s on the market. One of the best ways for SME’s to side step the cost of high bills and long leases is utilizing serviced office space.

This type of office space is usually furnished with desks and chairs. Utilities are connected and phones ready to use. If you have ever had any dealings with utility companies and their call centers, you’ll understand! Essentially, you could just arrive and start working immediately. Shared and serviced offices come with flexible leasing contracts which allow you to have more freedom further down the line if your business expands. This is also great for any business looking for a short term base or satellite office.

Serviced office space provides a great networking environment which allows companies to form and build close relationships with other companies occupying the same building.

Renting serviced office space can be significantly cheaper option overall than leasing a large amount of fixed commercial property space, which may not always be used efficiently. This allows additional funds and improved cash flow to be spent on other strategic important areas, many growing business require.

Serviced offices can be a sensible alternative, especially in a rapidly changing world. No one really knows how long a contract or commitment given by clients can be depended on. The ability to change the location and size of company’s office requirements can offer a real competitive advantage to others stuck on long leases in a fixed location.
